"KONA HEAT" Basketball Jersey

Across Hawaiʻi, every island holds a Kona moku—except Maui. Kona, the leeward side, is known for lands that are hotter, drier, and flatter, shaped by the natural balance between Kona and Koʻolau. These moku are more than regions—they are bio-regional systems made up of interconnected ahupuaʻa that sustain life and community.

This piece was inspired by the moku of Kona on Oʻahu, stretching from Kapūkakī (Red Hill) to Kawaihoa (Koko Head). The #20 marks 20 years of Fitted on Kona Street in the Kona moku of Oʻahu—honoring legacy, resilience, and the communities that continue to carry it forward.  

Proceeds from the Kona Heat Collection will support the Hawaiian Councilʻs Kākoʻo Mai Fund, helping Native Hawaiian communities impacted by the recent Kona Low storm systems.
